Privacy policy
Effective 3 October 2026
Repertoire is a language-learning service. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the Repertoire website or mobile app.
Information we handle
- When you register for early access, the contact and learning interests you submit, plus the campaign link or referring website that brought you to the signup page. We store a referring site’s hostname, not its full page address.
- For public website analytics, we count page loads, early-access button clicks, form starts, and product-video plays by day, page, campaign, referring site, country when available, broad screen, browser, and operating-system category, and whether the request has a valid signed-in web session. We check the existing session cookie for this distinction, but do not store the cookie, a visitor identifier, IP address, full referring URL, or raw browser details in these counts. Your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal stops this measurement.
- Account information supplied by Google or Apple, such as an account identifier, name, and email address. Apple may provide a private relay address.
- Learning content you create, including conversations, saved notes, practice responses, exercise photos, language preferences, and progress.
- Service records used for security, reliability, troubleshooting, and measuring feature usage, including whether an app open or learning action occurred on the website or in the mobile app. Error reports may include the failed operation, HTTP status, request reference, a short error message, and a technical stack trace. API request bodies are not included in error reports.
- Practice reminder status (on, off, or blocked), when you turn reminders on or off, platform, a random device identifier, and report times, linked to your account so we can measure who uses reminders. Scheduled reminder times, chosen days, and notification content are not collected for this purpose.
How information is used
We use this information to provide and personalize learning features, synchronize your data, secure your account, maintain the service, respond to support requests, and understand which outreach brings page visits, interest, and early-access registrations. Repertoire does not sell personal information or use learning activity for targeted advertising.
Service providers
Repertoire uses service providers only as needed to operate the product. These include Cloudflare for hosting, storage, and security; OpenAI for AI-assisted language features; Google and Apple for authentication; and Apple and Expo for app distribution and delivery. Information sent to a provider is limited to what is needed for that function. Repertoire requires service providers to protect information consistently with this policy.
AI features and providers
When you use an AI-powered feature, Repertoire may send the text or photo you submit, relevant conversation context, and your learning profile to OpenAI so it can generate explanations, examples, notes, and practice. OpenAI does not receive your Google or Apple password. Repertoire sends model requests with provider-side application storage disabled. Photos attached directly to a conversation are saved with that conversation so you can refer to them in follow-ups; photos submitted through the separate review-first scanner are not retained by Repertoire afterward.
Retention and deletion
Your account data is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated learning data from Profile & Settings in the mobile app. Limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or short-lived operational backups.
Your choices
You can sign out, revoke Google or Apple authorization through the relevant provider, or delete your account in the app. Backup and restore controls are restricted to the service owner. For access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions, contact support@myrepertoire.app.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated and the revised policy will be published here.
